My first ever blog post was an Egyptian inspired make up followed by early 20s through 50s Retro
Make up looks. Which i took off the site since going back and forth to the site hesitating whether or not to continue to beauty blog. Egyptian eye make up is such a fun look to paint onto Eyes. So here is my second take on the Egyptian make up post.
Its interesting how all beauty hits originates from Egypt. And how it has inspired many of beauty industries companies. Like the world famous Sephora beauty shop, for example of how they extracted their store name from an actual Egyptian Wife of Moses name Zipporah who was known to be of walking beauty. Basically Sephos the greek word meaning of beauty has been combined with the rest of Moses wifes name resulting in Sephora.
From what i have observed on a king tut gold stone carving in my art class i attended in my high school years, i noticed details of such bright and metallic aqua blue with bold thick lines of Kohls outlining the eyes.
Nyx Cream eyeshadow in Olive Branch, Razzle Dazzle, Sephora by Opi nail polish in shade Charge it, ZUZU liquid eyeliner in Raven, Urban Decay 24 hour liquid eyeliner in El Dorado, and Loreal Infallible in Nutmeg.
I also dabbed on Occ loose colour concentrate eyeshadow in Saturate that i had mixed Mufe Diamond powder into
Occ Loose Colour Concentrate in Saturate
Turquoise blue or a nice Olive/ Emerald Green color was popular Eye decoration choice for Egyptians throughout historical evidence.
Makeup Forever Aqua Cream eyeshadow has one of the best wearing wonderful Emerald green eyeshadow color. Looks just like a Scarabs scale!
